About Us

A premium team of success built for authors - and built without a boss.

Miravela Journal helps authors publish, optimize, market and grow. We are four specialist groups working as one team, guided by the Author Ongoing Growth System™.

Our Story

We started because good books were disappearing.

MIRAVELA JOURNAL was formed in 2020 around a single frustration: talented authors were finishing extraordinary manuscripts, uploading them, and then watching nothing happen. Not because the writing was weak - because publishing is an industry of systems, and nobody had handed them the system.

So we built one. First for formatting and distribution. Then for keywords and categories, because a book nobody can find might as well not exist. Then for design, because the cover and the A+ Content page decide whether a browsing shopper becomes a buyer. Then for marketing, because attention now lives in short-form video. Six years later those pieces are a single framework - AOGS™ - and four groups who each own a part of it.

What has not changed is the size of the promise. We do not tell authors we can guarantee a bestseller. We tell them exactly what we will do, when, and how we will measure it - and then we publish our satisfaction numbers so the claim can be checked.

Mission & Values

What we hold ourselves to.

Six principles that decide how we take on work, how we price it, and what we refuse to do.

Radical Transparency

Every author sees the same board we see - scope, owners, dates, blockers. If something slips, you hear it from us before you notice it.

Flat By Design

There is no CEO and no owner-founder hierarchy at MIRAVELA JOURNAL. We are a team at once. Each of the four groups elects a Group Lead who coordinates, not commands.

Craft Over Volume

We cap the number of concurrent engagements per group so quality never becomes a scheduling problem.

The Author Owns Everything

Your rights, your royalties, your accounts, your files. We build inside your ecosystem and hand over every asset at the end.

Systems, Not Improvisation

AOGS™ exists so nothing depends on someone remembering. Same process, same checkpoints, every project.

Global From Day One

We work across time zones with authors in Africa, Europe, North America and Asia - asynchronous by default, live when it matters.

Timeline

Six years, in order.

2020

The first ten manuscripts

MIRAVELA JOURNAL began as a small publishing support group helping independent authors get clean, store-ready files onto Amazon KDP. Ten books in the first year, all delivered by hand.

2021

Discoverability becomes the problem

Authors were published but invisible. We built our first keyword and category research process - the seed of what is now the Amazon SEO & Optimization Group.

2022

Design joins the table

A+ Content, covers and trailers moved in-house after we saw how much conversion depended on what the reader sees in the first three seconds.

2023

AOGS™ is formalised

Six repeatable stages - Discover, Build, Launch, Grow, Optimize, Sustain - written down, assigned owners and turned into the framework we run today.

2024

Short-form takes over

BookTok, Reels and Shorts became the dominant discovery channel for fiction. The Marketing Group was formed around it.

2025 →

A team at once

We removed the last layer of hierarchy. Four groups, four leads, one shared standard - and a public satisfaction board anyone can read.

Author Spotlight

Seven authors, in their own words.

Recorded interviews with the authors behind the numbers, plus what their readers are saying back. Choose an author to read the full conversation.

The Interview

Adaeze Mbanefo

Enugu, Nigeria · author of The Salt In Her Voice

Adaeze wrote for eleven years before she let anyone read a full draft. We sat with her three weeks after her launch month closed.

Q. What was the hardest part of finishing this book?

A. Trusting that a quiet story could hold a reader. There is no murder, no twist. Just a woman and the sea and everything she refused to say out loud. I kept waiting for someone to tell me it was too small.

Q. What changed when the team came in?

A. Someone finally told me what the market was doing without telling me to change my book. The keyword work was done around the story I had already written, not around a story they wished I had written.

Q. What surprised you about launch week?

A. How much of it was already decided before launch day. By the time the book went live, the categories, the A plus page and the first fourteen days of posts were built. I mostly answered readers.

Q. What would you say to an author still sitting on a manuscript?

A. Finish it badly and fix it later. A perfect unfinished book helps nobody, least of all you.
